Kaepernick is the Snake in the NFL’s Grass.

What is the most common and safest way to kill a snake? Cut off it’s head, which is what the NFL did to Colin Kaepernick after he protested police brutality by kneeling during the National Anthem. Kaepernick is a better quarterback than a few quarterbacks who having starting or backup jobs in the NFL, but he doesn’t have a job.

Some people try to argue that it’s because of his lack of skill, but Kaepernick’s stats in the 2016 NFL season, and the fact that he’s a previous NFC champion proves that he still has skill to offer the many NFL teams that need a quarterback.

Some NFL players are still boycotting the National Anthem before the start of games like Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett. Some Black NFL players are covering their NFL jerserys with black t-shirts calling it #NFLBlackOut in support of Kaepernick. A group of Black and a couple of white Cleveland Brown players kneeled during the National Anthem at a recent preseason game.

But, the fact is that all of these players still have their NFL careers.

There is no uproar for any other football player sitting during the National Anthem. There are no tweets sent to them calling them unpatriotic or stupid. It is a comfortable time for the body of NFL players to protest the National Anthem because the head has been cut off. The NFL commissioner, NFL team owners, NFL head coaches, players, and fans who wished the worst for Kaepernick has made their voices heard. They have made an example out of Kaepernick and if they make examples out of any other NFL player then their racism will be too obvious and they don’t want that.
