Who Wants A Bad Chick?

I used to follow “bad” chicks on Instagram like a kid trick or treating on Halloween; I couldn’t get enough. I followed one bad chick, and then Instagram suggested another one, so I followed her. It’s a never ending cycle. I soon realized that I’m following a bunch of girls that I don’t even know just because they look good. My Instagram feed turned into just scrolling through photos of bad chicks and nothing of value. Most of the girls I following had thousands of followers because they posted sexy photos whether it be they were half naked, had a big booty, super attractive, or whatever. I knew nothing about these girls beyond their attraction.

Most bad chicks on Instagram look different in person. I’m not suggesting they look ugly in person or faking as someone they’re not, but no one looks “bad” 24/7 especially once you get to know a person. I bet that some of the girls you lust for on Instagram are someone you wouldn’t like if you got to know them. Being bad is just the appearance, but being a likable person includes character traits, personality, goals, hobbies, and a lot more. Instagram doesn’t show all the latter so don’t be quick to praise a woman with a like and follow just off their photos.

Even though Instagram’s purpose is for photos and it isn’t used to go in-depth about people like Facebook, but still you should want to know something about a person to follow them. Instagram isn’t just about good-looking photos but who is the person taking the photo and why.
