The Best Lessons Are The Ones You Learn From Other Peoples Mistakes.

I read an article on Lamar Odom’s memoir “From Darkness to Light.” For those who don’t know, Lamar Odom was the NBA player who was found unconscious in the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas due to an overdose on drugs. Odom won NBA championships in 2009 and 2010 and was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.

In an excerpt from his memoir Odom said that he had sex with over 2,000 women and that he ran out of porn to watch. Sex was the trigger to do drugs and he cheated on Khloe Kardashian during their marriage.

I can’t even fathom how someone can have sex with over 2,000 women and their penis don’t strivel up like a dried raisen. It just reminds me why God created marriage to not hinder us from having fun but to protect us from our wreakless selves.

Thank God that I don’t have the money and fame to have access to any woman I want. Having sex with over 2,000 women shows that no matter how beautiful they are sex will not fulfill you.

Look at Tiger Woods and how he had sex with over a dozen women. When his infidelity was found out in 2009 he lost millions of dollars in endorsements and alimony.

Both Odom and Woods went to rehab for their addictions, but did they really overcome their sex addiction? Both got a divorce which made them legal to have sex with any woman they want and not have to worry about the media in their business. Odom said he still struggles with his demons. He said he quit drugs which I’m not surprised since drugs can actually kill him and ruin his basketball career, but I’m pretty sure Odom is still having sex with random women. Probably not as often to call it an addiction, but if he was that addicted to sex while married, then I don’t see how having having the freedom from maritual satus will stop him..

These stories are something to always keep in the back of my head that whenever the temptation of infidelity comes along just remember that one time isn’t enough. There isn’t a woman in this world that is worth cheating for because if it is then Odom and Woods would have cheated once and felt good to go. It feels really good when I can learn valuable lessons from other people so I don’t have to experience the embarrassment and pain that they felt.
