Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
When I think what patriotic means I think of Trump supporters, people with blue line flag stickers on their car, people who use the Confederate flag as proud history, Proud Boys, everyone who participated in terrorizing the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021, people who support civilians owning assault rifles no matter how many mass shootings we have with dozens of casualties because the shooter used an assault rifle. Patriots are Right Wing voters because I have yet heard a leftist call themselves a patriot. Patriotism means July 4th is one of your favorite holidays despite ending slavery was part of the Red Coats agenda.
I’m not patriotic. I’m just an American citizen.
